A mysterious downhill bike has been seen on the Whistler event, and based on the jersey graphic it's written 'Specialized' and the confirmation later is that bike is a Specialized Downhill Prototype. Downhill again, though Specialized has been produced the monster in downhill, the Demo and Status; this prototype is none of them, and maybe this is the fusion from Demo and Status. So, it is a new downhill machine from Specialized.
This Specialized Downhill Prototype is still black without any graphic on the frame, but it will be great in the further. And if Specialized puts some improvements for this bike, it may that this bike will be new idol in downhill race, both professional or beginner. All of the part is still blank, without any graphic or something for us to recognize, even the parts and components, except the Ohlins rear suspension. As we know that Specialized has been joined a partnership with Ohlins. So, for you the Specialized fans, the Specialized Downhill Prototype is now depending on you, because this bike still anonymous, you can give it name as you like. And hope that Specialized hear that, and put your idea to make the Specialized Downhill Prototype ready to ride. Maybe it can be called Specialized Demus.
