The new technology from Shimano, the electronic shifting have been unveiled few times ago and it's been a while since that but there are few products that be created to support the technology; Pro, the brand that stocks the bike parts releases Pro Tharsis, the integrated cross country bar, stem, and post with Di2 technology.
Claimed to help the rider for the simplicity because it has no cable on them and it means the bike will look more clean, and Pro answers the technology by their newest cockpit named Tharsis to accommodate the technology. How it works? The Tharsis flat bar basically have hole and internal route for the wires from the shifter. The seatpost and stem make a good combination; the post gives the battery and the stem hides the battery inside the fork steerer.
But this Pro Tharsis XC Di2 cockpit is high price, each of them have $249 for the flatbar, $189 for the stem and $299 for the seatpost.
