Look Closer: Kona Process 111 2015

Kona puts bigger wheels in 2015 for their Process, one of their popular mountain bikes. And for this 2015 Process, or be called with number "111" behind the name will be get longer top tubes and shorter stem. Kona Process 111 2015 also build a space for the dropper post; from its appearance this bike will be enduro/trail mountain bike. The frame is using aluminum as the material, a different approach where many popular brands build their new mountain bikes with carbon material, or a combination between aluminum and carbon. But Kona surely have own consideration to use aluminum for their bikes.
Kona Process 111 2015 will be equipped with great products for every parts to guarantee its performance on the trail. SRAM and Shimano will be in partnership to support this bike for the drivetrain and brakeset; the X1 and SLX brake will be used in this mountain bike. For the suspension department, this bike gets great combination from Rockshox Pike RCT 120 mm travel and Rockshox Monarch RT shock. 





Kona starts to use their own products for the cockpit, with Kona bars, stem, and also the grips. Wilderness Trail Bikes, or known as WTB will support the saddle and the rims. Maxxis Ardent will give this big wheeled enduro mountain bike a better grip on various terrain. Don't forget the KS Lev dropper post to make this bike complete. With those parts, the full-bike version of the Kona Process 111 2015 will be priced at $4,100. Kona claims that the Process 111 is more stable and balance.
