New Bike: Rotwild E1 FS 27.5 Enduro Bike

If popular bike brands are too mainstream, there are still many awesome bikes out there with awesome bikes also, and for the mountain bike fans this will be a different experience when you are riding an unfamous brand with awesome products. Rotwild, maybe some of the mountain bike activists are never heard about this brand, but basically this is a good brand with good products.

Rotwild E1 FS 27.5 is their new enduro bike that already running in 650b wheel size just like its name. For this E1 FS, Rotwild creates this bike as elegant bike with raw color, ready to be used both climbing and downhill or technical riding. The Rotwild E1 FS is a bike with 165mm or rear travel and will be fit up to 170 mm travel for the front suspension.

Besides the awesome frame, the E1 FS also built up with awesome parts to support the bike such as Fox racing shox suspension both rear and front kashima series, the famous Shimano Deore XT brakes, E13 cranks combined with SRAM X01 11 speed and also Crankbrothers cockpit.

Another interesting, Rotwild really concern about building the E1 FS, so it can also be seen that there are some cable protector to protect the frame from cable movement to avoid the scratch on the frame. Despite, the scratch or dent or even crack on the frame is normal because this is enduro mountain bike, and it means that the riding will be crazy. (Photo: Enduro MTB)

Look Closer: Orbea Rallon X30

Orbea bike is a Spanish brand which many awesome products of various scenes of mountain biking such as cross country to all mountain bike, and one of their popular all mountain bike is their Rallon models and they have new Orbea Rallon X30 to be discussed more, what about its performance, the build, and many more. Orbea Rallon X30 fullbike is weight about 14.63 kg and that's not a lightest bike out there, but this new all mountain bike have also many positives aspects as the weapon to go out to the trail.

The Orbea Rallon X30 is a modern all mountain bike just like others; 160 mm of travel and 27,5 inch wheels, better geometry for all mountain bike scene, and great suspension. What else? Rallon X30 also be able to climb better. Orbea adopts the similar-look-suspension sytem with Trek's ABP on their Rallon, but on the Rallon it has concentric pivot which reduce the effect of braking to the suspension. To handle this, Orbea puts the Fox suspension on both rear and front; the FOX CTD rear shock and FOX 34 Evolution 160 mm of travel.

One of the negatives part on the Rallon X30 is, this new Orbea all mountain bike is still using quick release model on the rear wheels, while most of new bikes, cross country to downhill is adopting the thru-axle model - despite Orbea may have their own reason why they are adopting the quick release model on rear wheels. It has no dropper post on it, so if possible the first upgrade is putting the dropper post on it.

This new all mountain bike from Rallon is supported by great parts such as Fox suspension combo, RaceFace cockpit, and also Mavic wheels with Maxxis tires. Shimano SLX offers the perfect and smooth shifting for agressive type of riding. And when the bike is rolling so fast, the Formula brakes are ready to stop the bike. For the fans who want to get this bike must prepared some money about $3,699 Australia. (Photo: FlowMountainBike)
